A release to close out 2025 by our resident and founder of the ЛИТЬЁ promo group. Straight from Kazan, «also me» by VRDNPRVCHK [вредная привычка].

Over the past year, Ruslan has managed to build a route with Guzeeva and release a collaboration on vtgnike («The Healer», 2025 edit). He also released the strong UK garage album «Illegal Grooves and Mixes», the work on which forced VRDNPRVCHK to cancel his participation in the Dekmantel Festival 2025 in Amsterdam.

At the same time, based on the results of the release test launch conducted by the members of the expert group. The release «also me» was deemed an excellent fit for the soundtrack of New Year’s menu same as salad «Oliv’ye» and meats, as well as «Kolokolchik» lemonade at the subsequent feast on January 1st.

This eight-track release was compiled during couple of years. And it’s features variations demos from the depths of the table to the author’s own reimaginings of familiar tracks in a 4×4 format. When the kick drum hits, new meanings and new aesthetics are born.
The release will be released digitally and on audio cassette (by the end of January).

Tracklist:

Intro — A brief immersion. Ambient sounds and a soft synth entry prepare the listener for a journey inward.
Also Me — The title track. Here, the artist asserts his signature style: a soft kick drum, a looped vocal sample, and deep bass. It is a manifesto of self-identification through sound.
Night City Lights — Classic late-night house. The rhythm becomes more confident, yet the melody remains ghostly, like city lights flickering in a taxi window.
Memories — A nostalgic composition. The use of filters creates the sensation that the music is drifting in from the next room or from a distant past.
Distant Voices — An experimental track focusing on ambient textures. The vocal fragments carry no literal meaning but create a powerful emotional backdrop.
Outro (Home) — The final chord. A calm, almost meditative conclusion that leaves a sense of light melancholy and closure.

VRDNPRVCHK is an electronic musician, a WELOFI resident, and the founder of the LITYE (ЛИТЬЕ) promo group. Ruslan is a true Kazan-based “electro-punk” who has built an impressive track record over the years:
