Post Pandemic VA5 compilation

At the end of February, a huge number of people woke up with a persistent feeling of inability to influence anything in the global situation.
In this new world, where the fluid notion of “peace” is chained in quotation marks, goals and hopes begin to fade imperceptibly. The sense of security in modern society begins to lose its original meaning. Tomorrow is associated with complexity.

For several days in the spring of 2022, almost all russian music labels, including us, have already encountered difficulties in the basic technical part of their activities – restrictions on PayPal, problems with payments for accounts and advertising companies, difficulties with distribution on major music streaming platforms. In sum, all this can greatly affect our prospects for new releases, may negatively affect our goals and development plans for the entire Welofi community.

However, we are trying not to lose heart and were obliged to complete the preparation of our peaceful oriented compilation “Post Pandemic VA”. We have been prepearing this release for the past three months. As a result, 30 musicians from ten countries of the world: France, Ukraine, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Lithuania, Australia, Canada.

This compilation does not adhere to rigid stylistic restrictions. Tracks from contemporary outsider house to acid club bangers, from measured electro vibes to angry ghetto house sounding.

We planned to release “Post Pandemic VA” on classic audio cassettes, but due to problems both with the cassettes production itself and with payment for international postage, we abandoned this idea. There are many good mates in the world. And Comfortless, who lives in Ukraine, was supposed to help us with mastering. Later we collected and sent him all the tracks in the evening at the end of February, and early in the morning next day a message came: “sorry, I can’t finish anything, it’s dangerous to stay here.” So there was thus another problem for us.
Despite all the difficulties, this compilation turned out to be complete and groovy varied! Thanks for the final mastering to NMNVNDL from ORGAN BOYS CLUB. This release already available on Bandcamp.

But we are don’t despair, as long as we have the strength to continue our mission and financial problems do not reach a critical point, Welofi will post peppy releases and help musicians!

St. Petersburg label Welofi released a large compilation Post Pandemic VA 5!

Thirty musicians from ten countries took part in the release.

The compilation does not adhere to strict style restrictions. You can find completely different music here: from outsider house to acid bangers, from measured electro to hooligan ghetto house. The collection features DJ Sickfuck, Produsserka, Broosnica and others.

For myself, I chose tracks with a kind and melancholy mood. But you might like something more dynamic, so listen to everything – the collection turned out cool!
